Stretching 160 kilometers from the Trent River to the Niagara Escarpment, is Ontario's marvelous Oak Ridges Moraine (ORM). Beneath its rolling hills, clear lakes, and green river valleys, are hundreds of meters of glacially deposited sand and gravel: an ideal filter for the water that quenches the giant thirst of Canada's most populous area.
This website is dedicated to all of the people and organizations whose hard work has preserved the moraine. Its purpose is to inspire the effort and commitment needed to conserve the moraine for life.
